Every year we do it- we head down the street to a big ol' apple tree on a busy corner in our neighborhood and pilfer some apples. It doesn't feel like Fall yet, with the 100 degree temps, but the apples were pink and falling, and we most certainly didn't want to miss them. We call it renegade apple picking. There were two orange spray-painted dots on the trunk of the tree. I hope that doesn't mean the city is going to cut our apple tree down. That would be a sad, sad day.
Dessert tonight- renegade apple handpies!
Photos all taken with my phone. My most favorite 50mm lens is out not cooperating lately.
